Fun Palaces: Rush Work Workshop

FREE Workshop

Learn about the ancient art of rush work with expert craftswoman Felicity Irons. Felicity continues to harvest and process rushes in a process that has remained unchanged since Anglo Saxon times. Try your hand at weaving with rushes in this workshop.

Places are limited, so if you have booked but can’t make it please let us know.

Only participating people need to book a place. If you are an adult supporting a child, and you do not wish to join in with the workshop, please do not book a place. Children aged 8 plus and adults are welcome to participate.
